My last couple of postings show that Episcopal classrooms are filled with dedicated teachers and enthusiastic students teaching and learning the lessons of Christian citizenship. Schools are open, likely to stay open and good things are happening across the Diocese.

Still, a recent catastrophe in neighboring Haiti has alerted educational leaders to the reality that colegios must be vigilant. Here are photos taken during an earthquake evacuation drill at Colegio Santa Cruz in San Jose, near San Pedro de Macoris. Students and teachers sure look ready to me!
