Enough Work From Home

A lot of my mission work happens from home. Zoom meetings, emails, texts — I do a lot of communicating from a home office in Lincoln, Nebraska. So, when I’m here in the flesh, I’m moved to get moving out of the apartment and walk up to La Oficina Diocesana (the Diocesan Office) to do some work, with large quantities of visiting colleagues thrown-in.
Today, Wednesday (Whoa! I’m caught-up!), I went to the office and did some blogging and journaling and chatting. I walked up the mild hill from the Seminary, noticing all the changes along the way. Gazcue has become a target for eager developers. I don’t know the Spanish word for “gentrification” but I’m seeing lots of evidence of it this week.
